Measuring your catcher for their new gear will ensure you select the right size the first time without having the ability to try it on first.  All gear is measured with 3 measurements to determine the best size for your catcher.  Typically an entire set will fit a player with the adjustability provided by the gear, but occasionally if your Catcher's anatomy is a little more challenging, you may need to piece together a set of different sized gear.  We sell both full sets and individual pieces to meet your needs!  If you need any help at all with finding the right size or products, our Gear Experts are here to help...Contact Us via Phone or Live Chat!

Measure Your Catcher in 3 Easy Steps:

Step 1 - HELMET SIZING & FITTING

For the most accurate sizing, it is recommended to use the players hat size, found by measuring the circumference of the players head, and then using the size chart on the appropriate product page to figure out the recommended model / size. Catching helmets must fit securely for proper performance. If a player measures in between sizes, it is best to select the smaller size. Please contact our team for any questions regarding proper helmet adjustments and fitting.

Step 2 - LEG GUARD SIZING & FITTING

Best done while seated, measure from center of the players knee cap to the knot in the laces on the players cleats. If the player measures in between leg guard sizes it is recommended to select the longer length. The players correct measurement is more important than their age.

Step 3a - CHEST PROTECTOR SIZING & FITTING (BASEBALL)

Baseball chest protectors are measured from the indent at the top of the sternum to the players navel. The chest protector should fit high, with the throat guard over the base of the neck.If the player measures in between chest protector lengths it is recommended to select the longer length. The players correct measurement is more important than their age.

Step 3b - CHEST PROTECTOR SIZING & FITTING (FASTPITCH)

To measure for Fastpitch chest protectors, find the top of the hip bone, bring over to mid-line; measure from that mid-line point to the indent at the top of the sternum. The chest protector should fit high, with the throat guard over the base of the neck. If the player measures in between chest protector lengths it is recommended to select the longer length. The players correct measurement is more important than their age.
